The Opportunity
This full-time, temporary contract position runs for 13 weeks starting July 20, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour day shifts per week. As a travel CT Tech in Charleston, SC, you'll bring your expertise to a dynamic medical facility while enjoying the flexibility and competitive compensation that travel healthcare offers. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanning equipment with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Position and prepare patients for imaging procedures in a professional and compassionate manner
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient comfort throughout procedures
- Maintain equipment functionality and report maintenance needs promptly
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely image delivery to radiologists
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to deliver quality patient care
- Follow infection control, radiation safety, and facility-specific protocols
What We're Looking For
- Current CT certification (ARRT, CTIN, or equivalent state/credentialing requirement)
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience in a clinical setting
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail in image quality and patient positioning
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and clinical teams
- Flexibility and reliability—travel roles demand professional responsiveness and punctuality
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
