The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse with graduate nurse experience to join our team at Backus Hospital in Chestnut Hill, Connecticut. This is a full-time position requiring no remote work. The role involves working every other weekend and holiday shifts.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the Med Surg A3 department
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of practice
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively during shifts
Who We're Looking For
- A recent graduate nurse with a valid RN license in Connecticut
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities
- Prior experience in Med Surg or related areas is preferred but not required
