Local Contract Nurse RN – Med Surg

RN Med Surg - Nacogdoches, Texas — Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN for a Med Surg position in Nacogdoches, Texas.

The Opportunity

We are currently hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Med Surg to join our team at Host Healthcare. This full-time, non-remote role offers a competitive pay package of $45-49 per hour for 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts. The contract is set to start on August 21, 2026, and will last for 10 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluation of patient conditions and development of care plans
• Administering medications as per medical orders
• Assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Providing education to patients and their families

Skills & Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Texas
• Minimum 1 year experience in Med Surg or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
