What You'll Do
- Develop, program, and optimize coordinate measuring machine inspection routines and measurement protocols
- Perform detailed dimensional inspections on aerospace components, assemblies, and subassemblies
- Analyze and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications
- Document inspection results, maintain quality records, and generate comprehensive measurement reports
- Execute precision measurement procedures following aerospace quality standards and requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying measurement trends and quality issues
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve dimensional discrepancies
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience programming and operating coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
- Strong knowledge of precision measurement techniques, tolerances, and dimensional analysis
- Proficiency reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering specifications
- Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, GD&T) preferred
- Experience with inspection software and data reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; related technical certification or training valued
