Solutions Architect, Travel & Hospitality

Amazon is hiring a Solutions Architect specializing in Travel & Hospitality solutions in Tarrytown, Travis County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to help leading hospitality enterprises transform their operations through AWS cloud technology.

About the Role

As a Solutions Architect on the AWS Global Sales team, you will partner with travel and hospitality organizations to design and implement cloud strategies that drive innovation, operational efficiency, and customer experience improvements. You'll serve as a trusted technical advisor, translating business objectives into scalable AWS architectures that address industry-specific challenges and accelerate digital transformation.

What You'll Do

• Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with travel and hospitality clients to understand their operational requirements, infrastructure limitations, and growth objectives
• Design customized AWS solutions tailored to address guest experience platforms, booking systems, property management, revenue optimization, and workforce operations
• Develop compelling technical presentations and proofs-of-concept that demonstrate business value and architectural feasibility
• Guide customers through implementation planning, resource allocation, and success metrics definition
• Maintain knowledge of AWS services relevant to hospitality and travel verticals, including compute, database, analytics, and machine learning offerings
• Partner with AWS technical teams, sales leadership, and customer stakeholders to ensure project outcomes meet expectations
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships that foster continued AWS adoption and expansion

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience architecting cloud solutions, preferably with AWS
• Deep understanding of travel and hospitality industry operations, systems, and technology landscape
• Strong technical foundation in cloud infrastructure, databases, and integration patterns
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences
• Track record of driving customer success through consultative problem-solving
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
