About This Position
As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll be instrumental in translating government program data into actionable insights. Your role supports program performance assessment and continuous improvement across care provider networks. You'll work at the intersection of data science and mission delivery, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative analysis to shape how organizations measure outcomes and optimize service delivery.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Partner with federal agencies and contractor teams to enhance data collection and analytical processes
- Develop and refine data collection systems and tools that ensure statistical reliability and program effectiveness assessment
- Identify performance metrics, outcome indicators, and standardized data elements supporting program evaluation
- Conduct advanced data interpretation and analysis using industry-standard analytics platforms
- Create compelling data visualizations, reports, and executive presentations for agency leadership
- Ensure quality and accuracy across all analytical deliverables
- Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests supporting organizational decision-making
- Build and maintain data repositories and databases supporting large-scale analysis and ETL operations
- Educate program and field staff on data tools, analytics platforms, and reporting systems
- Champion data infrastructure improvements and analytical capability development
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of quantitative and qualitative data analysis experience (or Master's degree plus 3+ years)
- Hands-on expertise with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI
- Working knowledge of scripting languages including Python and R
- Solid SQL proficiency and relational database experience
- Advanced competency in Excel and VBA
- Exceptional analytical thinking and precise attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance (MBI T2 level)
- Preferred: background supporting immigrants, refugees, or underserved populations
