Project Manager

Jobot is recruiting a Project Manager for a commercial construction general contractor based in Denver, Colorado. This full-time position offers a salary of $100,000 to $145,000 per year and represents an excellent opportunity with a respected, employee-owned construction management firm.

Position Summary

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Denver-based client, a leading general contractor specializing in commercial construction. You'll oversee construction projects throughout their lifecycle—from planning and budgeting through final completion—managing timelines, teams, and quality while maintaining strict safety and code compliance. If you bring proven construction project management expertise and a track record of successful project delivery, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee commercial construction projects from conception to completion
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, control costs, and administer change orders
• Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, suppliers, and clients at all project stages
• Monitor project progress against timelines and schedules, making adjustments as needed
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and comprehensive communication with stakeholders
• Lead problem-solving efforts to resolve challenges and keep projects on track

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing commercial construction projects of varying scope and complexity
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and industry standards
• Proficiency with project management and construction software applications
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Proven capability to manage multiple projects while adapting to shifting priorities
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
