Product Owner (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential client in the construction technology sector seeking a Product Owner to shape digital solutions that deliver real value. In this role, you will own the product vision and translate requirements into actionable solutions, bringing together business units, IT teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

Your responsibilities include:

• Digital Solution Development: Develop ideas and target visions for digital products, processes, and solutions. Structure and prioritize requirements, translating them into implementable solutions. Guide digital solutions through all phases from conception to rollout and ongoing enhancement.
• Project Steering: Plan and coordinate IT and digitalization projects while monitoring goals, timelines, quality, and resources. Create transparency around progress, dependencies, and pending decisions. Ensure concepts become functioning solutions alongside project participants.
• Requirements & Stakeholder Management: Capture, challenge, and structure requirements while aligning with relevant stakeholders. Moderate competing interests and drive decision-making. Support change management to successfully embed new processes and solutions within the organization.
• Advisory & Knowledge Transfer: Support evaluation and selection of appropriate digital solutions and technologies. Assist with tender processes, proposal evaluations, and procurement when needed. Present complex topics clearly and support users through workshops, training, and documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in digital projects, IT projects, product development, or comparable roles with direct ownership
• Strong understanding of user needs, processes, and technical relationships
• Ability to structure complexity and drive decisions forward
• Excellent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both)
• High willingness to travel (50% presence required at Würzburg location)
• Experience working in agile or traditional project frameworks with a pragmatic, situation-appropriate approach
