Product Marketing Manager – Gale (Remote)

About the Role

As Product Marketing Manager for Gale at Cengage Learning, you'll own the marketing strategy and execution for a suite of research and educational products. This is a full-time, remote position where you'll drive market awareness, customer adoption, and revenue growth by translating product capabilities into compelling value propositions for K-12 schools, higher education institutions, and public libraries.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for Gale products
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product evolution
• Create marketing materials including case studies, whitepapers, sales enablement content, and digital campaigns
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives
• Measure campaign performance, track key metrics, and optimize strategies based on data and feedback
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including librarians, educators, and institutional decision-makers

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of product marketing experience, ideally in education technology, library services, or SaaS
• Proven success developing messaging frameworks and positioning that resonates with your target market
• Experience with product launches, market segmentation, and go-to-market planning
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Understanding of the K-12 and higher education markets is a plus
