About This Position

This role sits at the intersection of investment expertise and artificial intelligence training. You'll work on contract-based projects where your financial acumen directly improves how AI systems understand portfolio management, risk assessment, and wealth advisory. The engagement is project-focused rather than a traditional permanent role, allowing flexibility while you solve real technical challenges for major tech organizations.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate scenarios for quarterly business reviews, assessing portfolio performance against established benchmarks and detecting allocation deviations outside acceptable ranges;
• Build test cases for portfolio rebalancing strategies that account for cost basis treatment, capital gains timing, and applicable regulatory restrictions;
• Create suitability analysis cases examining client risk appetite, investment timeline, restricted securities, and concentration policies within stated investment frameworks;
• Develop comprehensive cost-analysis frameworks comparing blended expense ratios, advisory compensation structures, and total holding costs relative to peer benchmarks;
• Produce thorough, well-documented test cases with transparent calculations, policy references, and verified outcomes.

Who We're Looking For

• A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field;
• At least two years of hands-on experience in investment operations, financial advisory, accounting, or financial services;
• Recent or current work history in portfolio management, financial advisory, or similar roles;
• Deep familiarity with portfolio performance measurement, tax-lot handling, regulatory wash-sale provisions, and investment policy literacy; industry certifications such as CFA, CFP, CPWA, CIMA, or CIPM are highly valued;
• Professional-level written English ability.

Working at name

Projects typically require approximately 10–20 hours of weekly effort when active, though this is a flexible estimate dependent on project scope and phases. Compensation reaches $50 per hour based on your expertise and output velocity. This is contract work: you progress from application through a screening phase, then join an active project, complete assigned work, and receive payment upon completion.
