Policy Tracking & Dashboard Analyst

Maximus is hiring a Policy Tracking & Dashboard Analyst to join our team in Galena Park, Harris County. This is a full-time, on-site position where you'll turn operational data into strategic insights that drive decision-making across our organization.

About the Role

As a Policy Tracking & Dashboard Analyst at Maximus, you'll own the design, development, and maintenance of analytical dashboards that monitor policy performance and operational metrics. You'll work directly with stakeholders, business partners, and project teams to understand their data needs and deliver visualizations that tell a clear story. Your work will inform process improvements, support strategic planning, and help leaders make data-driven decisions that matter.

What You'll Do

• Build and deploy dashboards and reporting solutions that track policy performance, operational workflows, and key business metrics
• Analyze complex operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
• Serve as the primary resource for data requests and analytical support across multiple projects and teams
• Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements, define metrics, and translate them into actionable visualizations
• Guide operational teams on product performance, data interpretation, and solution enhancement options
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity in all reports and dashboards
• Document analytical methods, data sources, and dashboard logic for team knowledge and compliance

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency with data analytics tools and dashboard platforms (such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
• Strong SQL skills and experience querying databases
• Ability to extract, transform, and analyze data to answer business questions
• Excellent communication skills—you can explain technical findings to non-technical audiences
• Attention to detail and commitment to data quality
• Bachelor's degree in analytics, business, data science, information systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and initiative in continuous improvement
