About the Role
As a Physician Scientist/Clinician Investigator at Dartmouth Health, you will join a collaborative, tri-institutional effort to advance discovery across the cancer research spectrum. We welcome candidates from every clinical specialty whose work spans basic science, translational study, clinical trials, or population-based investigation in oncology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead an independent program of cancer research aligned with your area of expertise.
- Design and conduct studies in basic, translational, clinical, or population sciences focused on oncology.
- Contribute to clinical trials and investigator-led research as a physician-scientist or clinician-investigator.
- Collaborate across the Dartmouth Cancer Center, Geisel School of Medicine, and Dartmouth Health clinical teams.
- Pursue scholarly publication, grant funding, and mentorship within an academic medical environment.
Qualifications
- Junior faculty candidate dedicated to a sustained career in cancer research.
- Background as a physician-scientist or clinician-investigator/clinical trialist from any clinical specialty.
- Demonstrated focus on basic, translational, clinical, or population-based cancer research.
- Commitment to collaborative, multidisciplinary academic medicine.
