Sanford Health is seeking a compassionate, licensed Physical Therapist to join our Home Health team in the Spirit Lake area on a part-time basis, delivering personalized rehabilitation care directly in patients' homes.
About the Role
As a Physical Therapist – Home Health – Spirit Lake (Part-Time) with Sanford Health, you will bring expert therapeutic care to individuals recovering in the comfort of their own residences. This day-shift position is scheduled for roughly 20 hours per week, making it an excellent fit for clinicians who value flexibility while making a meaningful difference in their community. Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients in the home setting and design individualized treatment plans aligned with each person's recovery goals.
- Deliver hands-on physical therapy interventions to restore mobility, strength, and independence.
- Educate patients and caregivers on safe techniques, exercises, and home-based care strategies.
- Track progress, adjust therapy programs as needed, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Coordinate closely with the broader home health care team to support seamless, patient-centered outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Physical Therapist in the applicable state.
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently within a home health environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care.
Compensation
- Pay range of $37.50 – $62.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- $2,500 sign-on bonus.
- Day shift; approximately 20 scheduled hours per week. This is a non-union position.
