This position is designed to help graduates educated outside the United States complete the practical requirements set by the State Board of Pharmacy while delivering trusted patient care in a community pharmacy setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out post-graduate pharmacy duties under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Counsel customers on the safe and effective use of their medications.
- Identify and explain potential drug interactions to support patient safety.
- Support preventive health initiatives, including administering immunizations.
- Help ensure prescriptions are accurately compounded, prepared, and dispensed.
- Work toward fulfilling the practice-hour and licensure requirements of the State Board of Pharmacy.
