Caregiver

Sevita is seeking a Full‑Time Caregiver to join its team in Morgantown, Monongalia County, providing direct support to individuals who benefit from personalized home and community-based services.

About the Role

As a Caregiver, you will work daytime hours delivering hands‑on assistance that promotes independence, safety, and quality of life for the people you serve. This position offers an hourly rate of $15.00 with access to on‑demand pay options, and requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits.

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide medication reminders and support health‑related routines under the guidance of care plans
• Offer companionship and engage individuals in meaningful activities that encourage social interaction and skill development
• Transport clients to appointments, community outings, and errands using your own vehicle
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, reporting any changes in condition to supervisors promptly
• Document observations, completed tasks, and any incidents in accordance with company policies
• Collaborate with family members, healthcare professionals, and Sevita staff to ensure consistent, person‑centered support

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Current driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
• Reliable vehicle available for work‑related travel
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and any required health clearances
• Compassionate, patient demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Capability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to changing client needs
• Availability for daytime shifts; flexible scheduling may be required based on client needs
• Basic computer literacy for electronic record keeping and reporting
