Key Responsibilities
- Operate Double Drop, RGN, and Step Deck trailers safely on OTR routes
- Secure, transport, and deliver open deck and heavy haul freight on schedule
- Manage long-haul mileage averaging 1,900–2,700 miles per week
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and comply with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate logs and communicate proactively with dispatch
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL in good standing
- Proven OTR and open deck or heavy haul driving experience
- Comfortable working as a solo 1099 contract driver
- Working knowledge of load securement for flatbed-style equipment
- Clean driving record and commitment to safety standards
