Onsite Interpreter – Wisconsin

Prisma International, Inc. is seeking a talented remote contract interpreter to support communication needs for clients in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area and surrounding regions. This is a flexible contract position perfect for experienced interpreters ready to deliver professional language services on a project basis.

About the Role

As a contract interpreter with Prisma International, Inc., you'll provide professional interpretation services that help clients and participants communicate effectively across language barriers. Working remotely, you'll engage in real-time interpretation across various contexts, ensuring clear and accurate message delivery while maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.

Core Duties

• Deliver accurate, professional interpretation services in assigned sessions
• Manage consecutive and simultaneous interpretation based on assignment requirements
• Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions
• Prepare thoroughly for each assignment, including research on specialized terminology when needed
• Communicate effectively with all parties to clarify meaning and ensure accuracy
• Complete documentation and reporting as requested for assigned projects

Who We're Looking For

• Demonstrated professional experience as a working interpreter
• Fluency in at least two languages, with professional-level English proficiency
• Strong listening, communication, and cross-cultural competency skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own flexible schedule
• Professional reliability and unwavering commitment to client confidentiality
• Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated, quiet workspace for remote interpretation
• Formal interpretation training or professional certification (preferred)
