The Opportunity

This full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant role with Gohealthuc in 2 Locations lets you deliver direct patient evaluations and ongoing oversight across the assigned sites. You will apply licensed advanced-practice skills day to day while coordinating with colleagues to keep care coordinated and efficient for the people you serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complete patient histories and physical examinations to identify current health issues.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics as authorized by scope of practice.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that may include prescribing medications or therapies.
• Counsel individuals and families on disease prevention, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
• Document all encounters accurately in the clinical record and communicate findings to collaborating physicians when needed.
• Carry out approved procedures and follow-ups that align with Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant privileges.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the location of assignment.
• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• National board certification appropriate to the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specialty.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent patient assessments and manage common primary or acute conditions.
• Clear communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and comfort working full time across 2 Locations.
