What This Role Involves

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant opportunity at Gohealthuc centers on independent yet team-oriented clinical practice in 3 locations. You will manage patient encounters from initial evaluation through ongoing management, applying evidence-based judgment to address a broad range of health concerns. This full-time schedule emphasizes continuity of care, clear documentation, and partnership with other practitioners to ensure safe, effective outcomes for every individual you serve. Daily work blends diagnostic reasoning, treatment decisions, and patient education so that community members receive timely, high-quality attention.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complete health histories and focused physical examinations for patients of varying ages and presenting concerns
• Order appropriate laboratory, imaging, and other diagnostic studies, then interpret results to guide next steps
• Formulate differential diagnoses and create individualized treatment plans that may include pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions
• Prescribe medications and therapies within the authorized scope of practice and local regulations
• Counsel patients and families on prevention, lifestyle modification, medication use, and follow-up expectations
• Document encounters thoroughly and accurately in the electronic health record to maintain continuity and compliance
• Consult and coordinate with supervising or collaborating physicians and other members of the care team whenever indicated
• Participate in quality-improvement activities and contribute to an efficient clinical workflow across the 3 locations

Who We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the jurisdiction of the 3 locations
• National certification appropriate to the advanced practice role
• Solid foundation in clinical assessment, differential diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Ability to work autonomously while remaining comfortable seeking consultation when needed
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust with patients and colleagues
• Commitment to patient-centered, culturally respectful care and continuous professional development
• Reliability and adaptability suited to a full-time clinical schedule across multiple sites
