The Opportunity

As a No 2 Mechanic (Factory) at Astonmartinf1 in Silverstone you will join the Build and Car Assembly function and work hand-in-hand with colleagues across the organisation. The post lets you play an active part in maintaining excellence around parts fitment and overall delivery while providing direct input into event readiness and ongoing mechanical improvements that benefit performance.

What You'll Do

• Assist the Build and Car Assembly department with day-to-day component and vehicle preparation tasks
• Coordinate regularly with the Race Team, Quality Group and Production departments to uphold rigorous assembly quality, dependability and output standards
• Deliver hands-on help for car construction both before and after events, plus ongoing mechanical refinement activities
• Contribute practical input that supports strong race-day results through meticulous build support and system development work

Skills & Qualifications

• Solid background in mechanical assembly and vehicle component fitting within a factory or workshop setting
• Ability to partner effectively with multiple specialist groups while meeting precise quality expectations
• Strong practical knowledge of tools, techniques and processes used in car build and reliability checks
• Good problem-solving mindset and attention to detail when contributing to mechanical development needs
• Capacity to work under event-driven timelines and maintain high standards of workmanship
