About the Role

The Network Infrastructure Communication Manager at Lumen will be responsible for ensuring secure and high-performance connectivity across cloud, edge, and AI workloads. This role involves managing and optimizing network infrastructure to support enterprise, government, and community needs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of Lumen's expansive fiber network
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless connectivity solutions for clients
• Analyze network performance data to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement strategies to improve network security, reliability, and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to network infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network management and communication systems
• Proven track record in managing complex network infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of fiber-optic networks, cloud connectivity, and edge computing technologies
• Experience with network security protocols and compliance standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
