Middle Market Banker II

Truist Bank is seeking a Middle Market Banker II to join our business banking team in Miami, Miami-Dade County. In this full-time role, you'll manage relationships with established mid-market companies, driving growth through strategic financial solutions and expert credit analysis.

About the Role

As a Middle Market Banker II at Truist Bank, you'll serve as the primary financial partner for a portfolio of medium-sized businesses. This is a key relationship-driven position where you'll combine commercial banking expertise with client advisory to support business expansion, working capital needs, and strategic financial planning across South Florida.

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage relationships with existing middle-market clients, ensuring strong service delivery and identifying cross-sell opportunities
• Assess creditworthiness through financial analysis, business plans, and market research to structure appropriate credit facilities
• Prepare and present credit proposals to internal committees, documenting client financials and risk assessment
• Collaborate with treasury management, investment advisory, and other bank departments to provide comprehensive financial solutions
• Monitor portfolio performance, manage account renewals, and maintain compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Identify business development opportunities in the Miami market and support new client acquisition efforts
• Provide guidance to junior team members and support new business banking initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of commercial banking or business lending experience
• Strong financial analysis and credit evaluation skills
• Demonstrated success in relationship management and client retention
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Knowledge of credit fundamentals and commercial loan structures
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field
• Proficiency with banking systems and MS Office applications
• Local market knowledge or connections in Miami a plus
