Computer World Services is hiring a Network Operations Center Technician I - Monitoring Cell (Sensor) to support mission-critical Air Force network operations at Lackland Air Force Base in Bexar County. This is a full-time position where you'll monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the systems that keep the Air Force Information Networks running reliably and securely.

About the Role

As a NOC Technician with a focus on monitoring and sensor operations, you'll join the team responsible for Air Force Information Networks (AFIN) and support the Mission Assurance Center (AMAC). Your primary focus will be on real-time monitoring of network infrastructure, identifying issues early, troubleshooting problems as they arise, and working to improve the tools and procedures that keep Air Force networks operational. You'll be part of a dedicated operations team that plays a vital role in maintaining network availability and performance.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor Air Force network systems and infrastructure in real-time using monitoring tools and sensor-based detection
  • Identify network performance issues, anomalies, and potential problems before they impact operations
  • Troubleshoot network systems when issues occur, working to quickly diagnose and resolve problems
  • Maintain network systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and availability
  • Document system status, issues identified, and actions taken according to operational procedures
  • Collaborate with the operations team to improve monitoring tools, procedures, and network infrastructure
  • Support network operations in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment

What We're Looking For

  • Experience with network operations centers, network monitoring, or similar technical operations role
