LifeStance Health is seeking a part-time Mental Health Therapist with an active LCSW-C, LCPC, or LCMFT license to join our Crofton, Anne Arundel County practice. In this role, you'll deliver compassionate, evidence-based mental healthcare to individuals seeking meaningful support and recovery.
About the Role
As a Mental Health Therapist at LifeStance Health, you'll provide clinical therapy services to adults managing a range of behavioral health needs. This part-time position offers the flexibility to build a meaningful caseload while contributing to expanded access to quality mental healthcare in your community.
What You'll Do
- Conduct individual therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions tailored to client needs and treatment goals
- Perform comprehensive mental health assessments and develop personalized, outcome-focused treatment plans
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and company requirements
- Collaborate with psychiatric providers, primary care physicians, and care coordinators to ensure integrated, coordinated treatment
- Respond to clients in crisis with clinical expertise and compassionate support
- Monitor client progress, adjust therapeutic approaches as indicated, and evaluate treatment effectiveness
What We're Looking For
- Active Maryland license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT)
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or related clinical field
- Demonstrated clinical experience providing individual therapy with adult populations
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work effectively with diverse, multicultural clients
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development
