The Opportunity

Labcorp's Eugene, Lane County laboratory is hiring a skilled Medical Lab Technologist to join our clinical operations team. Working Monday through Friday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM (including select holidays), you'll perform critical testing that drives patient diagnosis and care decisions. This full-time Medical Lab Technologist role is ideal for someone committed to precision, quality, and collaborative healthcare delivery in a modern laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate specimen quality and acceptability prior to testing, ensuring compliance with established laboratory standards
• Execute routine and complex laboratory procedures according to departmental protocols and established guidelines
• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain clinical laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Prepare patient samples for analysis and process test results with accuracy and efficiency
• Implement quality control measures and adhere to safety protocols throughout laboratory operations
• Document findings and report results in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
• Hands-on experience in clinical or medical laboratory settings
• Competency with laboratory instrumentation and technical equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to follow complex procedures and departmental protocols consistently
• Solid communication and collaboration skills in a healthcare team environment
• Relevant laboratory certification or ability to obtain certification as required
