Marketing Manager*in CRM

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential pet care brand based in Germany. Our client is seeking a Marketing Manager for CRM to lead the complete customer journey and create memorable experiences at every touchpoint. This is a remote-first role based in Hannover, with occasional office collaboration.

As the strategic mind behind customer engagement, you will own every aspect of the customer experience—from first contact through post-purchase loyalty. You'll design unboxing experiences, orchestrate email journeys, and continuously optimize how customers interact with the brand.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete customer journey strategy, defining what customers experience at each touchpoint and why
• Design and manage the unboxing experience including packaging, inserts, flyers, greeting cards, and product presentation
• Develop and manage the full lifecycle email journey: onboarding, post-purchase engagement, and reactivation campaigns
• Analyze customer touchpoints, identify gaps, and implement concrete improvements
• Create design assets independently using Canva, Affinity, or similar tools from concept to final execution
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate concepting, copywriting, and design work
• Work autonomously with direct communication to leadership

What We're Looking For

• Experience in marketing, brand management, CRM, or e-commerce
• Strong proficiency in Canva with ability to execute designs independently
• Experience with email marketing platforms (such as Klaviyo), copywriting, or direct-to-consumer strategies
• Excellent sense for brand, design, and customer experience
• Comfort and enthusiasm for working with AI tools
• Structured, independent work style with customer-centric thinking
• Located in or willing to relocate to the Hannover area
• German language fluency required for this role

Nice to have: Personal experience as a dog owner and familiarity with the target audience
