Position Summary

Council Jobs is seeking a Marina Technical Officer to join our team based in White Gum Valley, Fremantle. This casual position offers the opportunity to work in one of Perth's premier waterfront destinations at Port Coogee Marina, where you'll be responsible for maintaining and supporting marina infrastructure and facilities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Maintain and support marina infrastructure and facilities
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of marina equipment and structures
• Assist with the organization and management of events at Port Coogee Marina as required
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Support the team in resolving any issues that arise during operations

What You Bring

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintenance tasks
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with marine infrastructure and facilities is advantageous but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided
