Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead the technology team to develop and scale innovative energy solutions for customers
  • Work closely with our co-founder and Co-CEO Chris Thompson on strategic technology initiatives
  • Oversee the global platform supporting Amber's products, including Amber for Batteries and Amber for EVs
  • Drive the development of new technologies such as vehicle-to-grid in 2026
  • Ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs while fostering a diverse, inclusive culture

  • A proven leader in technology who can inspire and manage a team of engineers and technologists
  • Experience in scaling technology functions within fast-growing companies
  • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, particularly battery storage and vehicle-to-grid systems
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A passion for driving innovation and sustainability in the energy sector
