Position Summary

The Principal Project Officer, Fraud will play a crucial role within a Queensland Government department dedicated to workers’ compensation regulation. This full-time position is integral to the implementation and support of a priority Fraud Action Plan, collaborating closely with the state’s workers’ compensation insurer, insurers, and other stakeholders.

Core Duties

• Support the development and execution of strategic fraud initiatives aimed at enhancing regulatory outcomes.
• Collaborate with key partners to identify, assess, and mitigate fraudulent activities within the workers’ compensation system.
• Contribute to the planning, coordination, and management of projects related to fraud prevention and detection.
• Analyze data and trends to inform decision-making processes and improve operational efficiency.
