What This Role Involves
The role of a Senior Associate or Special Counsel at u&u involves engaging in sophisticated commercial work with an established portfolio of high-quality clients. You will have the opportunity to work as an extension of clients' businesses, providing strategic legal advice and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on a range of commercial matters
- BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS AND THEIR BUSINESSES
- MANAGE COMPLEX LEGAL MATTERS FROM INITIATION TO RESOLUTION
- WORK IN A HYBRID ENVIRONMENT, BALANCING OFFICE AND REMOTE WORK
- DEVELOP STRATEGIC BUSINESS PLANS FOR CLIENTS
Requirements
- MINIMUM 7 YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AS A LEGAL PROFESSIONAL
- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
- STRONG PROJECT MANAGEMENT ABILITIES
- PREFERRED BACKGROUND IN COMMERICAL LAW OR SIMILAR FIELD
- ADEQUATE KNOWLEDGE OF AUSTRALIAN LEGAL SYSTEM
