The role of Town Planner involves working closely with community members, stakeholders, and other professionals to develop and implement land use plans that enhance the quality of life in our communities. This part-time position will contribute significantly to the sustainable development of Mangerton and its surrounding areas.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and prepare detailed reports for planning applications.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive land use plans that align with local government policies and community needs.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and other professionals to ensure compliance with planning regulations.
• Provide expert advice on zoning, subdivision, and development control issues.
• Engage with the community through public meetings and consultations to gather input and feedback.

Skills & Qualifications

• A degree in Town Planning or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience as a Town Planner, ideally within a local government setting.
• Familiarity with relevant planning legislation and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
