What This Role Involves

This 6-month fixed maternity leave cover contract offers a unique opportunity to work with CPL at Mylestones Employment in Gooburrum. As a Support Officer, your role will be pivotal in connecting people with disabilities to suitable employment opportunities. Your Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with disabilities in finding appropriate employment opportunities that align with their skills and interests.
• Provide support to clients throughout the job search process, including resume building, interview preparation, and ongoing career guidance.
• Collaborate with employers to ensure they understand the needs of people with disabilities and can accommodate them effectively in the workplace.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance employability skills among clients.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Support Officer, you should have:

• A strong passion for social impact and working with people with disabilities.
• Experience in employment support or related fields is desirable but not mandatory.

• Basic knowledge of disability rights and employment legislation (training provided).
