The Opportunity

Hamilton Woods Associates is seeking a dedicated Housing Support Officer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role involves visiting properties within and around the Stratford area to support tenants facing challenges such as homelessness, substance abuse, or mental health issues.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assessing tenant needs and providing tailored support plans
• Offering guidance on housing benefits, tenancy agreements, and other relevant services
• Conducting regular visits to ensure tenants' safety and well-being
• Collaborating with local agencies to address complex issues affecting tenants
• Documenting interactions and progress in comprehensive reports

What We're Looking For

• A compassionate individual with a strong commitment to social welfare
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience working with vulnerable populations or a willingness to learn
• Familiarity with housing and support services in the local area is advantageous but not required
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and community engagement
