Position Summary

Statecover Mutual is seeking a Claims Support Officer to join our team in North Lismore, Lismore. This part-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to our mission of keeping people safe, well, and working by providing essential support within the claims process for workers' compensation insurance solutions exclusively for local government in NSW.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the processing of claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SIRA regulations.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to claim cases.
• Communicate effectively with insured members, injured workers, and healthcare providers regarding claim status and requirements.
• Contribute to minimizing the impact of workplace injuries by collaborating closely with our Members (insured local councils).

What You Bring

• A strong understanding of workers' compensation insurance processes and SIRA regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The capacity to work in a team environment, collaborating closely with various stakeholders.
