What This Role Involves

The role of Partners in Place Project Officer involves leading change, building partnerships, and shaping community-driven systems within a place-based coalition. The successful candidate will work closely with the ACCO-led project to transform communities through innovative initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of strategic plans for the Partners in Place project
• Facilitate community engagement and collaboration among various stakeholders
• Contribute to the design and delivery of programs that address local needs and improve community outcomes
• Evaluate project progress and contribute to reporting and documentation
• Work closely with other team members to ensure project goals are met within the given timeframe

What We're Looking For

• A degree in a relevant field such as community development, social work, or related disciplines
• At least 3 years of experience in community engagement and project management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective partnerships with diverse stakeholders
• Experience in developing and managing community-driven projects
• A commitment to Aboriginal cultural values and a proven track record of working effectively within Indigenous communities
