Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain relationships with members of Congress, federal agency officials, and policy influencers
- Prepare policy briefs, white papers, and analysis to inform internal decision-making and external advocacy
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and strategic alignment on policy matters
- Represent PowerLines at industry associations, coalitions, and federal policy forums
- Track and analyze the impact of federal policies and regulatory changes on PowerLines' operations
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in federal policy, government relations, or regulatory affairs
- Strong understanding of the legislative and regulatory processes at the federal level
- Established relationships or experience engaging with federal agencies and Congressional offices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic thinking and policy analysis capabilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a policy-related field
