Advanced Technology Services invites qualified candidates to apply for a full-time Maintenance Technician CNC Specialist role based in Fort Worth, Texas. In this position you will apply specialized CNC knowledge and expert industrial maintenance skills to keep production assets performing at peak levels.

About This Position

As a Maintenance Technician CNC Specialist with Advanced Technology Services in Fort Worth, Texas, you will deliver advanced break-fix repairs, preventive care, and equipment upgrades within a busy factory environment. The role demands standing, walking, climbing, working in confined spaces, occasional lifting of more than 50 pounds, and regular exposure to loud noise, outdoor weather, electrical risks, and industrial materials. Compensation falls between $98,289 and $125,703 USD depending on experience, education, and location, complemented by medical, dental, and vision plans, paid time off, a 401(k) with employer match, and tuition reimbursement.

Your Responsibilities

  • Carry out expert-level emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and mechanical or electrical design improvements on complex systems matching your CNC specialty
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for production equipment and lines
  • Program, diagnose, and resolve intricate control-system software, hardware, and configuration issues
  • Operate predictive technologies—infrared thermography, ultrasonic testing, power-quality analysis, laser interferometry, ball-bar testing, and vibration analysis—and interpret the results for condition assessment and proactive intervention
  • Lead and contribute to continuous-improvement initiatives that refine processes, boost results, and generate cost savings
  • Source parts and repair items, propose engineered alternatives that raise reliability, and perform independent maintenance to industry standards while upholding 5S and housekeeping expectations
  • Set up and run machining equipment such as lathes, drill presses, and grinders to fabricate or restore components, and complete welding when required
  • Research new maintenance methods and tools suitable for company sites, prepare cost analyses for equipment decisions, update CMMS records, supply technical content for quotations, mentor less experienced technicians, and complete self-directed technical learning while strictly following all safety rules and remaining alert to hazards

What You Bring

  • High-school diploma or GED
  • Associate degree with technical emphasis plus seven years of relevant industry experience, or ten years of industry experience without a degree
  • Proficiency in predictive technologies (vibration analysis or laser interferometry), precision alignment, and process-equipment maintenance
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid-power, and control systems with the ability to diagnose faults, generate solutions, and complete repairs
  • Skillful use of standard hand tools and specialized instruments
  • Availability for occasional travel and Six Sigma experience preferred
