Maintenance Supervisor – 1701 Chandler

Gallery Residential is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee facilities operations at our 1701 Chandler community in Statesboro, Bulloch County. This full-time leadership role combines hands-on technical expertise with team supervision to maintain exceptional property standards.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor leads all technical and mechanical operations at Gallery Residential's Statesboro property, ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas consistently meet our standards for safety, cleanliness, appearance, and functionality. You'll manage maintenance staff while performing skilled repair work yourself, reporting to the Community Director and collaborating with the Property Management team to keep our residential community operating at peak performance.

Your Responsibilities

• Supervise and train maintenance staff on repair procedures, safety protocols, and company standards
• Perform hands-on technical and mechanical repairs on building systems, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural elements
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and code compliance issues
• Create and execute preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment life and reduce emergency repairs
• Respond to resident maintenance requests and emergency calls with rapid, professional solutions
• Maintain detailed work logs, maintenance records, and equipment service documentation
• Ensure all work meets building codes, safety regulations, and Gallery Residential quality standards
• Coordinate with the Community Director on operational priorities and budget management

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience supervising maintenance teams or managing residential facilities
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical work, and general building repairs
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and manage competing maintenance priorities effectively
• Proven leadership skills and experience training and motivating maintenance staff
• Physical capability to perform repairs, climb, lift, and work in various weather conditions
• High standards for safety, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship
• Flexibility to respond to emergencies and urgent maintenance situations
