Maintenance Mechanic – Night Shift 11p-7a

Join The Andersons as a Maintenance Mechanic on our night shift team in Maumee, Lucas County. We're seeking a skilled, hands-on mechanic to keep our operations running smoothly during the 11p–7a shift, performing critical repairs and preventive maintenance that support our agribusiness enterprise.

About the Role

This is a full-time position focused on the inspection, repair, and upkeep of industrial and agricultural equipment at our Maumee facility. You'll work independently during night hours, diagnosing mechanical issues and implementing solutions that minimize downtime and maintain consistent production performance.

What You'll Do

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery to keep operations running efficiently
• Execute routine preventive maintenance and scheduled service activities
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify root causes quickly
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work and equipment status
• Ensure all repairs and activities comply with safety standards and company protocols
• Report equipment concerns and recommend solutions for repairs or replacement

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Solid understanding of mechanical principles and equipment operation
• Ability to work independently and stay productive during night shift hours

• Reliable communication and strong attention to detail
• High school diploma or GED; technical training or certification in mechanics is valued
