Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential logistics organization operating modern fulfillment operations in the Potsdam area. As Maintenance Engineer (m/w/d) - Automation & Instandhaltung, you will work with advanced intralogistics, conveyor technology, and automation systems to ensure maximum performance of highly automated material-handling equipment.
- Störungsbehebung: Identify and resolve both electrical and mechanical faults in technical systems, working closely with operational teams
- Supplier collaboration: Work directly with machinery suppliers on complex technical issues to develop effective solutions
- Analysis and improvement: Analyze failures, prevent recurrence, and implement sustainable technical improvements
- Preventive maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum equipment availability
- Continuous optimization: Initiate and implement improvements to make systems more intelligent and efficient
What We're Looking For
- Completed technical apprenticeship, Meister or Techniker qualification, and/or Bachelor's/Master's degree in a technical field (e.g., Maschinenbau, Chemieingenieurwesen, Mechatronik, Automation)
- 7+ years of experience in a technical maintenance or engineering role
- Practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, plus experience with automated conveyor technology, material-handling systems, or intralogistics equipment
- Familiarity with CMMS software tools and PLC-based control systems
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach
- Independent working style with initiative and goal-oriented problem-solving abilities
- Fluent German and English language skills
