Help us support people experiencing homelessness by joining PATH (People Assisting the Homeless) as a Maintenance Associate at Bridges at Kraemer Place in Anaheim, California. In this full-time position, you'll maintain safe, clean, and well-functioning residential facilities where people access housing and support services.
About the Role
The Maintenance Associate at Bridges at Kraemer Place ensures facilities remain secure, operationally sound, and welcoming for all residents and staff. You'll manage routine maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment, and handle emergency repairs that directly support the safety and dignity of those we serve. Driving is essential for this position.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance across residential units, kitchen, and office areas
- Inspect and test safety systems, including fire alarms and emergency equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems including ventilation, heating, and plumbing
- Complete carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs
- Paint surfaces and remove graffiti to maintain facility appearance
- Clean and maintain all facility floors using appropriate methods and equipment
- Document maintenance work and maintain detailed records
- Support general facility operations and assist with operational needs
What You'll Need
Minimum qualifications:
- One year of experience in maintenance, facilities management, or related field
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation with proof of insurance
- Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Authorization to work in the United States
Required before hire:
- Tuberculosis test
- Background screening
- Drug screening
Preferred qualifications:
- Two or more years of maintenance or facilities experience
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
Important eligibility note: You must not currently be receiving services from PATH or have received services within the past two years.
Compensation and Benefits
- $21.00 to $26.00 hourly wage (salary adjusted based on relevant experience)
