Locum Obstetrics Gynecologist

CompHealth is seeking a full-time Locum Tenens Obstetrics Gynecologist to join a clinic in Lumberton, Mississippi, North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for an OB/GYN physician to deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a supportive practice environment with a Monday through Thursday clinic schedule.

This locum tenens obstetrics gynecologist position offers the stability of full-time work with a predictable weekly schedule. You'll focus entirely on patient care while our specialized support teams handle every logistical detail—from licensing and credentialing to housing and travel arrangements. What You'll Do

• Manage obstetric care including prenatal evaluation, labor and delivery, and postpartum management
• Provide gynecologic services spanning preventive health, chronic disease management, and office-based procedures
• Conduct patient consultations, develop treatment plans, and make clinical decisions in partnership with the care team
• Maintain thorough, accurate medical documentation
• Collaborate with nursing staff, midwives, and other clinical professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in the on-call schedule as established by the clinic

What We're Looking For

• Active medical license to practice obstetrics and gynecology in North Carolina
• Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Current DEA registration
• Demonstrated clinical competence in obstetric and gynecologic care
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
• Ability to function effectively within a collaborative clinical team
