About This Position
This is an exciting opportunity for a Litigation Associate to join Jobot, a full-service law firm with over 200 employees and more than a century of history. The position offers a competitive salary range of $200,000 - $300,000 per year in the vibrant legal market of New York City.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Handle cases involving Premise Liability and Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA)
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to support litigation strategies
- Prepare and review legal documents, pleadings, and motions
- Assist in the preparation for depositions and trials
- Work closely with senior attorneys on complex cases
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Bar admission in New York State or willing to sit for the New York Bar Exam
- Minimum 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in Premise Liability and MVA cases
- Strong research and writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
