About This Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a Litigation Associate to join Jobot, a full-service law firm with over 200 employees and more than a century of history. The position offers a competitive salary range of $200,000 - $300,000 per year in the vibrant legal market of New York City.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Handle cases involving Premise Liability and Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA)
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to support litigation strategies
  • Prepare and review legal documents, pleadings, and motions
  • Assist in the preparation for depositions and trials
  • Work closely with senior attorneys on complex cases

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Bar admission in New York State or willing to sit for the New York Bar Exam
  • Minimum 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in Premise Liability and MVA cases
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
