Join recruitometry's litigation team as a Business Litigation Associate Attorney at our Greeley Square, Manhattan office. We're building a thriving practice dedicated to representing clients through complex commercial disputes, and we need an accomplished litigator with 3–5 years of experience to help us grow.
About the Role
This full-time position offers the opportunity to develop your litigation skills by working on sophisticated, high-stakes business matters from intake through resolution. You'll partner with experienced partners and senior attorneys, gaining hands-on exposure to diverse commercial disputes while building client relationships and deepening your courtroom experience.
What You'll Do
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, discovery responses, and legal memoranda
- Manage discovery, coordinate document production, and maintain organized case files
- Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and interviews; conduct proceedings as appropriate
- Support trial preparation, including witness examination strategies and evidentiary analysis
- Communicate with clients regularly to provide case updates and manage expectations
- Collaborate with senior litigators on case strategy development and settlement discussions
- Monitor court deadlines, filing requirements, and procedural compliance across matters
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor and active bar license (New York preferred)
- 3–5 years of complex commercial litigation experience in law firms or in-house legal departments
- Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical abilities
- Strong client communication and relationship management skills
- Capacity to juggle multiple matters while meeting demanding deadlines
- Organized, detail-oriented approach to case management and discovery
- Genuine interest in continuing your litigation career in a collaborative, mentoring environment
