What This Role Involves

In this full-time role as a Lifeguard at The Walt Disney Company, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and crew members while working on our cruise line. You will need to maintain high standards of personal hygiene and follow all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor swimming areas to ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations
• Respond quickly to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR if necessary
• Assist in the rescue of individuals who are struggling in the water
• Inspect facilities for potential hazards that could cause accidents
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance safety and emergency response skills

What We're Looking For

• A strong commitment to safety and a passion for helping others
• Basic first aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• A positive attitude and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
