About the Role

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse on our Medical Renal team, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients with renal conditions in our acute hospital setting. You'll work alongside experienced physicians, RNs, and healthcare professionals dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes and evidence-based care in nephrology.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiration
• Assist with patient assessments and direct care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians
• Perform daily patient care activities including hygiene assistance, positioning, and mobility support
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation and patient records
• Support post-operative and post-procedure care, including wound management and comfort measures
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver quality outcomes
• Respond promptly to patient needs and communicate changes in condition to supervisors

• Current active license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in Texas
