Headway, a mental health practice platform, is recruiting a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for a full-time position in New Jersey. Earn up to $121.80 per hour while delivering client care and growing your practice with our integrated support system.
About the Role
As an LPC with Headway, you'll provide evidence-based counseling to clients while leveraging our streamlined platform to manage administrative work. This role combines clinical practice with built-in support for insurance credentialing, client scheduling, and billing—allowing you to focus on delivering quality care and expanding your client base without navigating the burden of practice paperwork alone.
What You'll Do
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions addressing a range of mental health concerns
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans rooted in evidence-based practice
- Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards
- Use Headway's integrated platform to manage scheduling, insurance verification, and billing
- Build and sustain a growing client base and develop lasting therapeutic relationships
- Collaborate with colleagues and multidisciplinary support staff on client care coordination
What We're Looking For
- Active New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in good standing
- Demonstrated experience providing therapeutic services to diverse client populations
- Proficiency with electronic health records and practice management systems
