About This Position
We are seeking a dedicated Counselor I to join our team at Amityfdn. As a Counselor I, you will provide support and guidance to individuals in need of counseling services within the community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for clients
- Evaluate client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Attend regular supervision meetings to discuss cases and receive guidance
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution
- Licensed as a Counselor I by the California Board of Psychology (MFT, LCSW, LPCC)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with diverse populations preferred but not required
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
