Join Youth in Excellence as a Licensed Child Care Administrator (LCCA) in Tyler, Smith County, leading our residential treatment center operations. This full-time, on-site role offers the opportunity to shape the lives of youth through clinical leadership, staff development, and program excellence, with compensation starting at $90,000 per year.

About the Role

As an LCCA with Youth in Excellence, you'll serve as the operational and clinical lead for our residential treatment center. This position bridges administrative oversight with hands-on child care expertise, requiring both licensing compliance knowledge and genuine commitment to youth development. You'll work Monday through Friday on 10-hour shifts, managing daily operations and ensuring every young person receives exceptional care aligned with state standards and best practices.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and develop direct care staff, providing coaching and performance management
• Ensure compliance with Texas child care licensing regulations and documentation requirements
• Oversee treatment planning and program implementation for residential youth
• Monitor safety, quality of care, and measurable outcomes across all program areas
• Collaborate with clinical, educational, and administrative teams to coordinate services
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for state agencies and internal leadership
• Foster a therapeutic environment that supports healing and skill development

What We're Looking For

• Valid Texas Child Care Administrator (LCCA) license—required
• Demonstrated experience in residential child care, therapeutic programs, or similar leadership roles
• Strong understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based treatment approaches
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with staff, youth, and families
• Organizational ability and attention to regulatory detail
• Availability for Monday–Friday, 10-hour shifts on-site in Tyler
