Xcel Ndt is hiring a Level II Advanced Services Technician (AUT, PAUT, TOFD, ET, DR/CR) for full-time work in West Odessa, Ector County. This position is ideal for a skilled technician ready to perform critical nondestructive testing and quality evaluation in a specialized technical environment.

Position Summary

As a Level II Advanced Services Technician at Xcel Ndt, you'll conduct nondestructive examination work supporting quality assurance and safety across industrial inspection operations. You'll calibrate equipment, execute tests using established procedures, evaluate findings against applicable standards, and maintain precise documentation. This hands-on role requires technical expertise in NDE methodologies, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to industry codes and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations and nondestructive examinations using AUT, PAUT, TOFD, ET, and DR/CR methodologies
• Determine component acceptance or rejection based on testing results and applicable standards
• Set up, configure, and maintain NDE equipment for accurate measurement and testing
• Record and document all test procedures, results, and findings in compliance with company standards
• Interpret examination results according to relevant codes, specifications, and quality requirements
• Adhere to all safety protocols, quality procedures, and regulatory guidelines

Skills & Qualifications

• Current Level II Nondestructive Examination (NDE) certification or proven equivalent
• Demonstrated expertise in nondestructive testing methods: AUT, PAUT, TOFD, ET, DR/CR
• Hands-on experience setting up and calibrating NDE instrumentation
• Ability to analyze and interpret test data against applicable codes and standards
• Strong technical documentation and record-keeping abilities
• High precision standards and commitment to workplace safety
• Availability for full-time employment at the West Odessa location
